The pastel de nata is waiting for you on your way to the Louvre, on Rue de Rivoli

A Portuguese work of art between Châtelet, Les Halles, and the Pont Neuf

Rue de Rivoli is one of Paris’s major thoroughfares, lined with landmarks whose names everyone knows: Place de la Concorde, the Tuileries, and the Pont Neuf. This is where “The” museum (the Louvre, of course) is located, as well as the Manteigaria of Rivoli. The pastel de nata adds a special touch to the City of Light, a destination for romantics, art lovers, and those who embrace life to the fullest.

With the grandeur of Paris outside, we’ve incorporated details from Portugal inside our shop: the black-and-white marble of the counter contrasts with the golden hue of the pastéis fresh from the oven and the lamps above. It’s in the little things that great things are made—or, at the Manteigaria, the most delicious ones.

One of our shop’s facades overlooks the production area, where the gestures, rhythm, and care of those who make each pastel de nata are on permanent display. You can see, touch, and taste to your heart’s content. Stop in for a coffee, grab a box to go, and indulge in le petit plaisir before continuing to explore the center of Pari

I came across this shop by chance while strolling around Paris and went in out of curiosity. Without a doubt, they serve the best pastéis de nata I’ve ever tasted in Paris. The staff were incredibly friendly and even offered me a glass of capilé, a drink I had never tried before. It was so refreshing, especially now that the temperatures are starting to rise.

The best pastéis de nata. If you only have time to try these little Portuguese custard delights in one place 💕, this is the place to go. The shopfront is stunning. There is a small counter where you can enjoy them on-site, but otherwise, I recommend ordering them to take away. Highly recommended.

A lovely place with delicious pastéis de nata! You can even watch them being made, which makes the experience even more special. The homemade tea was absolutely delicious, and the coffee was excellent too. A pleasant atmosphere, friendly service, and definitely a place worth visiting!
