MANTEIGARIA
Augusta
The Pastel de Nata from the heart of Baixa
History tastes of Pastel de Nata on Rua Augusta.
Rua Augusta is the heart of Lisbon’s Baixa district. Its wide sidewalk is home to some of the most remarkable buildings in Lisbon’s history, from the Roman baths to the Pombaline reconstruction.
The Manteigaria of Rua Augusta has one of the most beautiful facades you will ever see. Inside, we have preserved some details of the original space, which belonged to Camisaria Pitta from 1903 to 2018, to maintain the history and class of this place.
Where once custom-made clothing was crafted with passion, artistry, and mastery, now they make Pastel de Nata, satisfying the desires of those who pass by. Also made in an artisanal way.
How to get to Manteigaria on Rua Augusta
Manteigaria on Rua Augusta is located a few steps from Arco da Rua Augusta and Terreiro do Paço. If you come by metro, get off at Baixa-Chiado station (Green Line / Blue Line), Rossio (Green Line) or go to Terreiro do Paço (Blue Line) and enter Baixa through Praça do Comércio.
